Refund policy

At Motique Motors, our customer satisfaction is a top priority. We invite you to carefully read the following conditions, formulated in compliance with the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and the regulations of the legal guarantee of conformity.

1) Right of Withdrawal (within 14 days)

Pursuant to articles 52 and following of the Consumer Code, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from delivery of the product, without the need to provide any reason and without penalty.

To exercise the right of withdrawal it is necessary:

  • Send a written communication to the email address info@motiquemotors.com pointing order number, customer data and the willingness to withdraw.
  • Return the product by 14 days from the notice of withdrawal, intact, not used and complete with original packaging and all accessories, manuals and equipment.

Return costs: the direct cost of the return is borne by the customer, unless otherwise indicated or unless the customer has been correctly informed before purchase.

Refund: once the product has been received and verified, Motique Motors will refund you within 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal notice, using the same payment method as the original order (unless otherwise agreed).

2) Returns for Products Damaged on Delivery (Transport)

If the product turns out damaged upon delivery, we ask you to report it as soon as possible and send to info@motiquemotors.com:

  • A detailed description of the damage
  • Clear photos of the packaging (external and internal) and of the product
  • Order number and customer data

Motique Motors will provide operational instructions for the management of the case (withdrawal, verification, possible restoration of conformity), in compliance with the rights provided by law.

3) Defects of Conformity, Defective Products or Malfunctioning Components - Legal Guarantee

For consumer customers, the legal guarantee of conformity: if the good has a lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to restore compliance without expense through repair or replacement, in accordance with the Consumer Code.

How to open a request: send to info@motiquemotors.com:

  • Order number and customer data
  • Detailed description of the problem
  • Clear photos and/or videos of the defect or malfunction

3.1 Intervention procedure (replaceable components / guided assistance)

In the presence of defective or malfunctioning parts, Motique Motors may proceed (depending on the case) with:

  • Sending spare parts and instructions for replacement, or
  • Repair / intervention with remote assistance, guiding the buyer step by step, when the solution can reasonably be carried out safely and without compromising the consumer's rights.

3.2 Replacement of the entire item: when it occurs

The complete replacement of the product is carried out when:

  • Defective parts they are not replaceable or they are not available,
  • The flaw it is not repairable,
  • Or repair/replacement of the component results impossible or not practicable in the specific case.

3.3 Request for complete change "for convenience" (resolvable defect)

If the customer requests anyway the replacement of the entire item even in the presence of solvable defects (e.g. via component replacement or viable guided repair), Motique Motors can offer a integral gearbox as a courtesy solution, with the Shipping costs required for item exchange are to be borne by the customer.

This option it does not limit or replace the consumer's rights provided for by the legal guarantee of conformity and is proposed exclusively as an organizational/service alternative when restoring conformity is reasonably achievable with less invasive interventions.

3.4 Costs and times

Interventions under legal warranty (repair/replacement due to lack of conformity) take place without charges for the consumer, as required by law.

4) Exclusions (cases not covered)

The warranty does not cover damage or problems resulting from:

  • Improper use or use not in accordance with the product instructions
  • Tampering or unauthorized modifications
  • Accidental damage, impacts, falls, liquids, external agents
  • Normal wear and tear due to use and normal performance decay due to use (when compatible with the nature of the good)

5) Important recommendations

  • Keep the original packaging until confirmation of acceptance of the return or until the case is closed.
  • Return the product with all accessories, manuals and original packaging.
  • In case of failure to comply with the withdrawal conditions (e.g. use of the goods beyond what is necessary to verify their nature and functioning), Motique Motors reserves the right to apply any reductions in the refund within the limits permitted by law.
